LATER EDIT: For all the Tokio Hotel fans, some of which like the band enough to leave a comment here, I have to get the facts right. So, I go to Wikipedia - Tokio Hotel music genre: emo, glam rock. Maybe only the lead singer is emo (Bill?) , maybe not even him but, I ask you, can you argue with Wikipedia?

These days I’ve been getting caught up in anything BUT what I’m supposed to… I’ve been focusing on personal silly net projects (soon to be revealed) when work should be top priority and hanging on the web instead of the multiple schools I’ve recklessly entered. Something like this:

It’s like I’m trying to get a break in the middle of the class. In this note I wanted to share, in case you didn’t hear of it, the genius webcomic that is xkcd. I’ve been following the comic for quite some time now and finally I’ve selected some of the latest episodes which are top of my list to give you a clue on what xkcd is about : “romance, sarcasm, math and language” [computer language that is].

Is it ok to say out loud that I don’t understand some of the episodes ? (the above I do! but all of the people who mentioned the comic seem to get them all!)… I get them in my own way

I was mentioning in my New Year’s status report that I want to “blog with value”. Following this train of thought I believe I found a clear cut focus and direction for deedeecus. com:

marketing. The old powerful marketing.

Thus I will be posting as regularly as possible on marketing issues all from my brain’s view. If the word big or small just ran through your head , we both know marketing is a huuuge field so I think I’m up for the job.

Reasons: I am passionate about marketing, I like every corner of it, the interestingness factor is immense , I’m already trying to learn as much as possible and be in touch with the latest news especially in online marketing so… like a MacBook Air spoof said:

I just love engineers, especially those in computer science you know why? Because of their brilliant naming talent. E.g. GOOGLE MOMA, the giant’s intranet… how cool is that? “moma”

My faves:

• simply congratulations to Vladimir Oane and his Big Bang Project for winning the 11minutes “battle” this week. The competition was tough but I believe the best won. i can’t wait for the winning application to be functional . it’s an idea i wish i had thought of myself.

Big Bang Project, an application that will help users publish different types of content (movies, pictures, blog posts, news, job listing, classifieds etc) on a variety of platforms (like Blogger, YouTube, Wordpress etc) and track the reactions of the content on all the platforms from a central location. • i’m going to learn snowboarding this weekend !!! i bought all the equipment i need and we’re going to enjoy the snow at Suior Maramures! i’m so excited !!!
